Speed Retouching: An Introduction to Pro Retouching

Speed Retouching: An Introduction to Pro Retouching

It finally had to happen—the first post on my blog that is a video (more specifically, a screencast, meaning a recording of what is happening on the computer screen). Last week I announced on my fan page that you could send me your photos, and I would retouch selected ones and record a speed-retouching video—one that shows the editing process at a highly accelerated pace. That is exactly what I did, but I also added a 10-minute commentary that I think makes good material for the blog. I tried to share as much information as possible in as little time as possible. I discuss various aspects of retouching and everything that goes along with it.

The quality of this video suffered a little (it is blurry) because I recorded it at a higher resolution and then scaled it down to 1920 x 1200. Next time I will try to do better.

You can subscribe to my channel here so you do not miss anything (future videos probably will not have separate blog posts): YouTube
