Nadgryzieni – the tech podcast I’m on every Friday

Once, while appearing as a guest on a photography podcast, I said I couldn’t host a podcast about taking photos, but I could easily record 1,000 episodes about technology. So I’m working on it :). Photography topics will probably come up sometimes too, especially considering that recent episodes have already mentioned cameras, lenses, tripods, and even the Peak Design camera bag that Amazon recently tried and failed to copy. But technology is the main theme – Apple and PC, mobile, VR, etc. As well as everything connected with it – software, games, and so on. You can subscribe here:

I’m not a fan of solo podcasts, and I’d never want to record one myself either – regardless of the subject. So I only started when I had the opportunity to podcast with Wojtek Pietrusiewicz (iMagazine). Nadgryzieni has existed, with breaks, for over 11 years, but I’ve only been part of it since the Relaunch, which happened in episode 300 (I mean, I dropped in briefly a year earlier, but only now am I a permanent host).

The Relaunch also means a new format – we record every Friday at 9:00 and stream it live via YouTube on the iMagazine channel. Later the same day, the recording goes to all podcast apps. I should also add that every podcast episode has precisely marked chapters, so you can jump to them with a single click.

The plan is to have no more breaks in recording at all. We’ve also made a few investments to simplify publishing episodes as much as possible (episode 302 is about the equipment we use). The fact that the recording is ready without any further editing certainly makes things much easier and saves a huge amount of time. Admittedly, in the first episodes we had technical problems that made it impossible to have a free-flowing discussion and left the video version with much worse sound than the podcast, but we’ve already sorted out the audio – since episode 305, the sound has been almost the same as in the podcast version. Then in episode 306 the video didn’t work out as it should have, but we’ll get that under control too!

Nadgryzieni has a regular lineup, which after the Relaunch means me and Wojtek, but we’re not ruling out having guests (and the most famous guest in the older episodes was Steve Wozniak – Apple’s co-founder). Even if someone isn’t familiar with Nadgryzieni, Wojtek appeared in my webinars years ago, where we discussed, among other things, computers for retouching. The latest episode is below. Unfortunately, my video is poor quality in it, but that’s the least important thing in a podcast:
